1. Eligibility

Shalom Refuge Harvest of Hope is intended for adults (18+) seeking a stable, supportive living environment. Priority is given to individuals receiving disability benefits (SSI, SSDI), in recovery, or transitioning from homelessness or institutional care.

2. Resident Responsibilities

Residents agree to:

Maintain personal cleanliness and respect shared spacesFollow house rules and curfews (if applicable). Participate in regular check-ins or meetings as needed. Treat staff and fellow residents with dignity and respect. Refrain from illegal activities or disruptive behavior.

3. Faith and Community Engagement

While we are a faith-rooted organization, participation in spiritual activities is always voluntary. All residents are welcome, regardless of personal beliefs, and will be treated without discrimination.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

Shalom Refuge Harvest of Hope respects your privacy. Any personal or medical information shared with us will be kept confidential and only used to ensure proper support and housing arrangements.

5. Rent and Financial Policies

Residents are expected to pay rent as agreed upon in their housing agreement. Payment plans or support may be discussed during intake. Failure to meet financial responsibilities may result in termination of housing, unless otherwise arranged.

6. Termination of Residency

Shalom Refuge Harvest of Hope reserves the right to terminate residency for:

Violations of house rules

Unsafe or harmful behavior

Non-payment of rent (after repeated attempts to resolve)

Any action that jeopardizes the safety or peace of the home

7. Limitation of Liability

Shalom Refuge Harvest of Hope is not liable for personal property loss, injury, or other incidents unless caused by proven negligence on our part.

8. Amendments

We may update these terms at any time. Residents will be informed of any significant changes. Continued residence or use of our services implies agreement to the updated terms.
